The concept
Most reverbs decay every frequency at the same rate. Hold a nine-second tail on a vocal and the low-mids pile up across phrases until the whole thing turns to fog.
Angelique decays the low end and the top end at their own rates. The body clears out while the presence and air keep ringing, so the tail stays open no matter how long you set it. Two controls, LIFT and GLOW, and the reverb gets out of the way on its own.
Before a single reflection forms, your audio passes through a neural saturation stage. High-mid harmonics bloom into the signal. The top end softens just enough to feel real. Underneath sits a room tuned by ear and then locked — no size or damping controls to get wrong.
What's inside
LIFT clears the low end before it can accumulate. GLOW decides how long the air on top sustains. Both work inside the feedback loop, so they change how the tail decays rather than just filtering it.
Envelope followers track your input and ease the tail back a touch on loud passages, returning in the gaps. Subtle by design — enough to keep the source present, never enough to make the reverb feel late.
High-mid harmonic enrichment at the input gives the reverb analog warmth without a separate plugin. Always on. Adds body and life at the source.
